Area: 100sqm²
Location: Óbuda Island - Budapest, Hungary

The structure was designed using scaffolding components and can be erected either with Multidirectional System or traditional Tube and Clamp scaffold. The design starts from a basic triangular module with 140cm side and 150cm height. After 88 repetitions we reached the final spatiality with 625cm maximum height and a very intriguing visual. It may sound a little confusing at first glance, but it's all a fairly simple variation of the same base triangle. In addition to the components of scaffolding, we also have 2 other materials: wood - which makes up the shelters - and the fabric in five different tonalities that give more naturally aspect. The structure will be strategically equipped with nearly 70m of waterproof LED strips, which will be turned on overnight, creating another atmosphere. The construction is able to house up to 60 seated people, besides projecting a great shade in its interior and surroundings, benefiting a much greater number of people. Because it is not completely covered and has the permeable sides, the wind circulates free and constant, leaving the environment cooler.

The structural stability is guaranteed by the stiffness of the triangular modules and its fixture in the ground can be made by anchor bolts that are removed at the end of the festival, leaving no trace behind. For best experience it is necessary making a correctly implantation on site, taking advantage of the ideal solar orientation. It must keep the longitudinal axis of the structure coincident with the North-South axis. With this orientation will generate more shaded areas around it. The option for scaffolding was given by the ease and speed of assembly along with the freedom that the system makes possible. As the structure will be rented, at the end of the festival all material will be collected by the supplier reducing waste production.
